SEFL Savannah

Frampton Construction has been selected to work on another dock expansion project for Southeastern Freight Lines, this time in Savannah, Ga. The existing terminal, which currently houses 68 dock doors, sits off of Highway 80 and is adjacent to the Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport.

The project involves adding approximately 17,371 square feet of covered dock space, including 44 new dock doors. The completed freight dock will stand as a pre-engineered metal building on a raised building pad. Five acres on site will be paved to add both drive aisles and 144 new trailer parking spaces. To make way for the dock expansion and additional parking, nine acres of land will undergo site development.

For this project, Frampton Construction has partnered with Robert Johnson Architects, Criser Troutman Tanner Consulting Engineers, Jordan Skala Engineers, and Ayercorp. This will be Frampton Construction’s ninth project for Southeastern Freight Lines.

Construction is set to begin in early February and should be complete by December 2018.

What Customers are saying

I am sending you this to acknowledge your company and your team for a job VERY well done. To break ground and have a project of this magnitude complete in seven months was no small feat. Your help and involvement from the early stages of approvals, your selection of supportive sub-trades, your highly disciplined processes to keep the project on schedule, and most of all your people, were key.
